| Makoto YABUKI |
| |
 Composer, instrument maker, musician and founder
of Bamboo Orchestra 1980 awarded the SONODA prize for the music of Saiyuki.
1983 joined the Yokohama Boat Theatre in Tokyo. Created instruments and
composed for the shows. The same year awarded a scholarship to study
music in France. 1984, composed and played in an adaptation of a Yukio
Mishima play for a French theatre company at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.
Back in Japan, continued to work with the Yokohama Boat Theatre, composed
the music for Oguri-Hangan (1989 Edinburgh Theatre Festival and 1991
Festival of New York), wrote for a traditional dance piece, performed
first concerts of his original instruments, held workshops for adults
and children on making bamboo instruments. 1986 concert at the Aoyama
Enkei Gekijo in Tokyo, composed for Puppet Theatre and Traditional and
Contemporay Dance Company. 1988 during a short visit to France, workshop
on making musical instruments, ADEMUSE, Aix en Provence. 1990 wrote the
music for the children's musical "Tatsunoko Taro" (Taro,
the child of the dragon), Tokyo. 1992 visited Bali in preparation of "Midsummer's
Night Dream", a Japanese/Balinese co-production. Composed for Take no Kai,
a shakuhachi group. 1993 founded Bamboo Orchestra Japan, 11 musicians traditional
Japanese percussion and flute. Bamboo Orchestra concerts. Moved to Marseille,
France with family. Continued music in France. 1994 at the Friche Belle
de Mai with French percussion musicians, built a new bamboo instrumentarium.
Beginning of Bamboo Orchestra Marseille. Since 1994, regularly holds music
workshops for schools and colleges. 1997 composed for the musical "Tsukino
Yono Monogatari"(The story of the moonlite night), a performance bringing
together three Asian cultures. For the Japanese Ministry of Culture, at
the Tokyo National Theatre. 1998, concerts in France, including "de Memoire
d'Eau" for C.R.E.C.S.. Tour of the South of France under GTR. "Tsukino
Yono Monogatari" in Indonesia. 1999 new concert "Invitation Via". |

| Hamid GRIBI |

 Multi percussionist, he played in several formations from 1993 (Bamboo
Orchestra, Percussions Rituelles, Festival Nuit Metisse...), and they were
presented in the south France region PACA, Chalon-sur-Saone, Paris, Japan...
He also conducted music workshops in several high schools and the institutions
for young in the region with Makoto Yabuki. In 1996, he met Sekouba Camara
who is the art director of Guinea Traditional Symphony Ensemble. In 1998,
he voyaged to Guinea for cultural exchange with Kunga-ka percussion school.
It was the discovery of African traditional music and dance for him. In
1999, he got a scholarship to go to study 3 months in Guinea. |

| Laurent PIACENTINO |

 In 1993, Laurent is golden medal of the Aubagne's
Academy of Music when he is also in the Arts University of Aix en Provence.
In 1994, He is golden medal of the Marseilles' Academy of Music and he
is graduated in Jazz studies of the C.N.R. Since 1995, he has taken part
in lots of tours and recordings with south France bands and artists.
He goes on tour in china with the band « BARRIO CHINO » and records their
album « Sabor del barrio ». He
takes part in a creation and gives performances with the orchestra of Marseilles'
opera house. In 1996, he records the 2nd album of the band « BARRIO CHINO »,
goes on tour,and appears in TV shows in France, Switzerland and Spain with
the bands « CABINE 13 » and « BARRIO CHINO ». In 1997, Laurent goes on
tour in Texas and New York with the band « DIANCANDOR » and in Europe with
the band « CABINE 13 », he records the album « Confusion » with CYRIL
ACHARD and the album « Fred & Co » with Fred SNEIDER. In 1998, he settles
in New York, he takes part in
« CHULA VISTA » and « ORIENT-EXPRESS » tours. In 1999 and 2000, he records
several albums :
« Sea of words » with the band FLEEZA DOZA, « Mint » with the band « MINT », « Martha » with
M.P DURLEY,
« Egocity » with the band « REDEVER », « Untie the sky » with the band « MAYA’S
ATTIC »,
« Souvenir de moi » with R.FONTANA », « Perfect 10 » with the band DIRTY DIAMONDS
; He takes part in tv shows with « REDEVER ». In 2001,he records the album « Come
in » with the band « GRAVY », and plays as session musician with « GIL
EVANS ORCHESTRA » by Miles EVANS and Lou SOLOFF's sides, gives performances
in New York with the bands « REDEVER » « GRAVY » « Pat MC GUIRE » etc.
In 2002, he records the album « Tout va très bien » with « la MARQUISE » and
takes part in the album
« Superpanorama » with « JAMASOUND ». He goes on tour with the bands: « la
MARQUISE » « JAMASOUND » and « HEBERT’S ».
In 2003/2004, he records the album « live 2004 » with « KANJAR’OC » and
goes on tour with this band in France, Sweden, Spain and Czech Republic. |

| Guillaume BONNET |

 Guillaume begins to learn drums in 1982.From 1983
to 1987, he gave lots of shows in region PACA with several artists: Vol
du Sud, Jean Lozzi, Bob Chidou (Mayotte)… The huge percussion universe enables to him to
evolve in various and fascinating musical styles as rock (Quartiers Nord,
Ortega, Garage), reggae (Jo Corbeau), blues (Pilogue blues band), French
song (Philippe Bruguière, Dominique David), classical (Ad Fontes,
Sempre arco), ethnic style (Transe express, Bamboo Orchestra). In 1988,he
does a lot of tours, and shows (more than 300 ). He records a 45t and a
CD with the singer Alain Ortega. In 1989, he enters the Aubagne's Academy
of Music with the percussion teacher : Roger Cot. In 1992,he enters the
Academy of Music in double bass class with teachers M.N Alessandra, J.B
Rière. He participates in a creation with P.Bruguiere for R.Petit's
ballets (Danse sur le Port 92 ). In 1993, he gives lots of concerts with
severeal regional artists: Alain Ortega, Jo Corbeau, Philippe Bruguière
( Fête de L'Huma Fest. Cîmes Rock, Arènes Fréjus,…)
and he makes a national tour with M.Ziegler to open the show for P.Obispo.
In 1994, tour in cabarets [France, Suisse ] with the band Totoglobo (150
dates), lots of concerts and festivals with the band Quartiers Nord, participation
in the recording of the albums of Quartiers Nord, Three Members, symphonic
shows with Aubagne's orchestra, direction : J.L Bonnet. In 1995,he participates
in a lyrical tour with the Vienne Young Bows Orchestra, Mozart's "Don Giovanni" in
PACA region direction : J. Roudon. In 1996, he records a cd album with
the power-trio GARAGE. He takes part in the creation "NH 90 " of
O.Stalla & P. Carrese direction Y.Poupourakis in EUROCOPTÈRE
Marignane. He makes concerts in Pontarlier with Aubagne's orchestra & Pontarlier
creation of Jl Gauthier & Inigo. He obtains the certificate of the
end of percussion studies with the mention good at the Aubagne's Academy
of Music. He participates in the musical creation with P. Sevajol for the
R. Petit shcool'show choreography: Larrio Ekson. He studies Indian Tablas
with Laurent Gherzi. In 1997, he become clear drum and rythmic musical
theory teacher in the percussion school "Kunga ka". He gives
a representation of "Cosi fan tutte"
(Mozart) with the Cantus Firmus Orchestra in the theatre la colonne in Miramas
, direction : Benjamin HOHAGEN. In 1998, he records singles with: Jo Corbeau,Les
Fumistes, Garage. In 1999, he records the Garage's album "Tout est Normal".
In 2000, he records the albums of Perez Trop Ska, L'Opérette de Quartiers
Nord, he participates as a drum master to the street spectacle "Lâcher
de Violons" productions in Miramas, Aubagne and Paris ( Beaubourg : 31/12
with 900 drums come from all over Europe), to the productions of B. BRITTEN "St
Nicolas" with the "Sempre Arco" Orchestra. In 2001, he gives
productions of L'opérette de Quartiers Nord in Theatre Gyptis, and participates
in the Jean-Pierre MOREAU RIOT's creation in the Aix-en-Provence's cathedral
(dir.I.Heiting) and he records Mathieu PIRRO's album. In 2002, he gives a concert
at Marseille's opera with Sonopsys, makes a tour in JAPON with the Bamboo Orchestra,
puts on productions of "2001 Odyssée de l'Estaque" in Marseille
(Odéon, Busserine), Berre, Bouc-bel-air, Port-de-bouc, Simiane, Pertuis
and of L. Berstein's "Psaumes" with the "AD FONTES" Choir
Aix, Gémenos, Roquevaire. In 2003, he goes on tour in Czech Republic
with the Quintet "Garage" (Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pardubice,
Olomouc). |

| Nathanaël PINNA |

 In 2000, Nathanaël is percussionnist of the spectacle « le Lâcher des
violons »
of the band Trans Express. In 2001, he works as activities organizer of a percussion
training for children in Aubagne and realize the B.O. of the short movie « Plus
jamais ça » (movie of J.C Hubert). In 2002, he is the scriptwriter sound engineer
of the movie « Des Routes » (it won an award at the international festival of
short movie about road safety of the UNESCO in 2003), percussionnist in the children
spectacle
« L’histoire de la Musique », he realizes the B.O. of the theatre spectacle « Divan
Derrière ». In 2003, he is graduated in percussions of the Aubagne's Academy
of Music, and he works as percussions teacher in this Academy (assistant of Mr
Cot), he becomes a drum teacher in the music school of la Bédoule, he organizes
a percussion training course for children in Aubagne. In 2004/2005, he is percussionnist
in the troupe « Bami Village » ( carnival of Gardanne, "le banquet de Bam’s" (Creation
in the Toursky Theatre), percussionnist and drummer in the band « Toklo Tam » (Tobias
Laporte) ( Festival « Tous humains sous les étoiles » summer 2004), percussionnist
for the choir citharista : « Chichester Psalms » de Léonard Bernstein. He works
as percussion stand-in teacher in the Aubagne's Academy of Music,he works as
a percussion teacher in the music school of la Bédoule, he works as a percussionnist
in various organizations. He enters the 2nd year of Music at the University
of Provence in Aix en Provence (13) and studies in percussion higher class
at the Aubagne's Academy of Music (13). |
