Biennial will record the ways used by young artists nowadays to illustrate,
recall, design, imagine the space, the natural and artificial surroundings,
the possible and impossible, the travel, the relationships, the environment,
in short, the world, with all its complexity.
Is it possible today to represent the complexity of this world, or can we
speak for ourselves, our own "microcosm" of the individual, or
at least use it as a source? This dilemma will be the center of the 11th
Biennial, offering food to works and interpretations where the new "cosmographies"
(aiming at describing the modern world) and the digital world which can
meet the "cosmopolitanism" (since according to Jacques Derrida
"the stranger becomes friend" and "a cultural characteristic
adjusts to another"). |
