Olivier Saccomano founded his theater "de la Peste" a few years back while putting together the project of working on the Sophocles' Theban cycle, which opens with the epidemic in the city. "I wanted to spend a year with a small group of players, doing Etudes in the manner of Chopin; neither an essay nor a work in progress, but an accomplished form of work that would connect the idea of the work to that of the exercise." The result: four creations in a light transportable stage-set, based on works by Monk, Darwich, Duras, John Cage.... " Le monde était-il renversé? " (Was the world upside down?) by Kafka was developed during the hiatus, nourished and exhausted by the Etudes, then recreated the year after.
It is this recreation of three animals' monologues, grappling with a law they would like to surmount and which surpasses them, which will be presented in Sarajevo.
