With Ahmad Compaoré
From 7 up
The lessons and workshops are taught by the drummer and percussionist Ahmad Compaoré, former pupil of the Nancy Centre for Music and Creativity (International Music Academy) where he was highly commended by the jury in 1995.
From taking your first steps in music to making instruments- listening, playing, exploring musical boundaries, improvising and performing – and of course the essential interactive nature of these instruments mean you'll really get to open your ears and dive into a world of sound together.
His teaching is a combination of Richard-Paul Morellini's'Essential' method and his own personal approach forged through improvisation and contemporary percussion experiences that encourage ‘free, progressive musical expression'.
