The Tour-Panorama

These two buildings are central to the Friche and house the reception and ticket office, cafe-bookshop and five exhibition spaces.

The tour-panorama is divided into three parts:

  • The ground floor, where you'll find the Friche's reception and ticket office, cafe-bookshop la Salle des Machines and its adjacent exhibition space – la Galerie de la Salle des Machines.
  • 2nd – 5th floors: the plateaux, 600 m2 each, dedicated to exhibitions of contemporary art, digital art and video.
  • The Panorama: The core of the Friche, the Panorama covers an area of 12m of floor space spanning the roof terrace which offers great views of the city. Its northern facade is made up of glass panels that frame the terrace and the landscape. On the railway side, it's a landmark for passengers coming in or out of town.
