Round table 3
New forms of artistic cooperations

These initiatives distinguish themselves by their capacity to network, from the local to the global level. Culture is seen as an alternative means for overcoming particularities and asking questions of diversity and identity within the context of globalisation. What type of artistic and cultural pluralism do these projects allow? To what extent do these expériments contribute to defining a world citizenship and cultural coopération?

Round table 4
A different world?

Art has always been an arena for critical questioning of the world order. To what extent do the new creative art areas revitalize this function? Are these experiments places for reinventing work, the city, the relationship with others, and self-development? Do they act as a sounding-board for public discussion, by asking the great questions of civilisation and opening up alternative routes in their own way?
